President Muhammadu Buhari was on Tuesday accused of treating members of the main opposition party the Peoples Democratic Party as ‘criminal and prisoners of war.’ Chief Olisa Metuh, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, said, the government of Buhari under the pretext of probing acts of corruption is engaging in witch-hunt of PDP members. Metuh condemned the arrest and intimidation of PDP members who served in the last administration.

He added that the party has left Nigerians to judge whether the APC government has brought any change to their national life. The PDP spokesperson said, no matter the level of intimidation and victimisation of PDP members by Buhari's government, the party would win in the forthcoming governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states.
