Buhari was in his 40's and not a naive teenager when he overthrew an elected civilian govt and plunged Nigeria into its most despotic era.

I wonder why his foolish supporters like Soyinka and Falana who welcomed IBB's coup against Buhari will think this leopard change his spots.

A despot at 40 is a despot for life!

The funny thing his blind supporters can not comprehend is that Buhari in his fake koworption war is actually silencing would be political rivals to pave way for his absolute rule.

i rather have a despot,than a clueless-dancing-smiling-clown.............

I agree with a good part or this article but I totally disagree with the title.

If Buhari's 'dictatorship' will bring more money into Government covers, reduce corruption, and provide more basic needs for the downtrodden them I vote for 'dictatorship'.

Dasuki is a back stabber to Jonathan but the reason he is being prosecuted are because:

1. His nomination was from IBB who Buhari hates with a passion.

2. Dasuki knows too much about the Buhari and Boko Haram link especially the fake assassination attempt of Buhari.

Buhari is desperate.

you sound like a desperate liar

Didn't bother reading all that crap. No one expects him to say anything different since his butt is on fire.

They would always try to rally the public to their side when the heat is on them but never do so when they are looting the treasury.

And for those Wailers above, don't you guys feel irritated from the stool you feed on daily?? When this guy was arrested, you Wailed "oh, Baba is being vindictive". When he said he doesn't deserve how he is being treated because he helped the opposition to power, you went "he's a traitor that deserves to be shot dead. He's a betrayer and a boko sympathiser". Now he's taken a swipe at the government and you guys are best buddies once again!! cheesycheesy

Lots of people have allowed partisan politics to becloud their reasonable minds. Leave the DSS to do their jobs please, this is a matter of national security. When Oladipo Diya's house was raided during Abacha's tenure as head of state, they were looking for documents and evidence, not armored cars and drones.

Allow DSS please, what they know about this country is way more than you do, they did their job lawfully, that's what matters

Did you not hear when some people within the GEJ government allegedly said they would rather hand over to military than allow Buhari rule this country?

In civilised climes the ex- DSS would have been dragged before an enquiry handled by the security committee of the house. But here, we decided to make a mockery of the statues of law.The fact that the government hinges its whole case on hearsay and public gist is laughable. The government rushed to the gun and thus bungled their case. But they rather enshroud themselves in deceit and foolery than face reality.Their intent might be just but their actions were not.

Stupidity at the highest level. By comparing Abacha and Dullardinhho means the writer was absolutely right.
Mind you, we voted for Democratic Government not military junta.

have you ever been outside the shores of this country to the U.S. or UK? Tell me if there's a difference between what the DSS did and how they prosecute even murder or crimes against women and children... Is there any difference? You get over 20 fully armed police cars at your house for alleged rape or child molestation or murder, and if it's a check or financial fraud or drug offence, they turn your house upside down and confiscate your properties too, talk less of a high profile officer like Dasuki (NSA)

Ps: argue without insults, what's wrong with maturity these days?

Bros, this is not dictatorship at all, I believe most of these guys raising dust over this issue have not lived in the US or developed countries before. For an alleged connection to fraud of a certain capacity, you'll see over 30 police cars in front of your house, they'll turn your house upside down looking for evidence, even drug offences, child molestation, rape etc, it's the same, talk less of a very high profile officer like NSA. If it were in the US, he would have seen more than 2 trucks of CIA or FBI at his house. This whole media outburst is unnecessary, if this man has case to answer, let him go answer it. DSS did their job lawfully. They had a search warrant, and when they found riffles and unreceipted cars, they didn't need warrant to arrest him.
