Thinking about it all and wondering what shape things are taking. Is the cup half empty or half full? Can one president bring all the answers we need.Is boko-haram truly us or does the sect have foriegn imaginary hands? Are people getting poorer or richer.will this land truly flow with milk and honey or are we a bunch of jokers.will our efforts towards rebuilding this nation see the light of day or will corruption and nepotism win this war.will the igbo's secede or will the country stay together?will the ND militants pull a rabbit out of the hat or will we channel our strengths aright? Is the country a ticking time bomb or a true giant of africa? When exactly will we be confident enough to say this cup is half full?

I feel so honored to have the first comment. All my hard work and dedication has paid off. Getting the first comment has been a dream of mine for many years, and I never thought I could of accomplished this but here i am. I would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost I would like to thank Jesus, the lord our savior for blessing me with this wonderful opportunity. Next i would like to thank my parents. I would like to thank the neighbor’s dog for always being there for me when my own dog would run away from me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole, for surviving against all odds for over a week. Next i would like to thank the squirrel in my backyard for climbing trees because it gives me the inspiration i need to get through the day. I also want to thank my teachers for preparing me for this day. This is a special moment in my life and i would like to thank any unmentioned friends or family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment i never forget. I just remembered a few other people i would like to thank, the fish I caught in primary 4, my bed because without it would be laying on the floor, the light in my room because it helps me see so i can write this speech. My house because without it i would be homeless. And last but not least i would like to thank all the people who took the precious time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress of how much this means to me. I have been trying to be the first comment on a post for years, but that has been impossible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue on this undoubtfully rare occasion, maybe even a million followers. If u ask me how i did this i would say, you can do anything you set your mind to. To all the kids out there reading this, i would like to tell them to follow their dreams and they can make anything happen. Being the top comment is a real honor and for everyone who has read this whole thing, thank you and god bless.

This is truly thought provoking.
As for Nigeria, the 'our husband' had gone mad! Guess what next . . .

Getting better but PMB cannot do it all but he will
prepare the ground.

Same way Tinubu couldn't do it all in Lagos but prepared the ground for Fasola to build on.

I hope so because managing Lagos is not the same as managing the Federation.

Absolutely correct. Reason why he has to take his time to lay a solid foundation.

It might be different but the basic concept is the same. Create strong institutions that needs little or no supervision to act. Each institutions must have its own mission and visions. Unlike the kangaroo/banana republic that was inherited.

When Ministers come in they just act as external supervisors to create checks and balances and give corrections and recommendations when necessary.

If the Nigerian army continues what its currently doing, i think we wont hear about them again in no time. Security is the only problem but almost everything is ok. Also dont forget that he took over just 2 months ago.

Everything else is ok? We have a poor healthcare system, our education is deteriorating by the year, there is high unemployment, high rate of violence, high mortality rates among infants and mothers, pedophilia is still legal in Nigeria, our roads are bullshit, poor housing, corruption, poverty, income and wealth inequality etc, and you say that Nigeria is ok? I hate the mentality that we have that Nigeria is ok. Nigeria is not ok, and let's stop acting as if it is. We have the potential to be so much more than this, yet we settle for all these nonsense. let's not settle for no electricity and let's stand up to the government and see whether they would not change. If we fought all these things the way we fight homosexuality, do you think that they would still exist?

Look at them, everything is okay indeed, what a shame! Nigeria has continued on a free fall since buhari took over! This country is on the brink!

...2 months ago and now 2yrs. Just yesterday, bokoharam murdered 11 soldiers, injured more and sacked their command. Mr President travels to London for every ailment and is currently MIA as he's not been seen or heard from in almost 3weeks, meningitis is about hitting the 1000-mark of casualties with vaccines getting stolen, police brutality is at an all-time high, monies are being discovered without owners so no one knows if these are mere hoaxes to claim the anti-corruption fight is on course or just a ruse, famine is lurking, humanitarian crises is on the rise with one too many suicides, Nigeria has slid down the happiness and corruption index rankings despite the much touted anti-corruption war, education is in trouble with all d drama of JAMB.

Now some dullards celebrate the rehabilitation of a single lane runway in the Abuja airport in record time but facilities for the 'poorer' masses remain a mirage. This is just a runway less than 4km and cost about N68 billion. The comparative analysis of this sum with like projects in other countries and earlier years in Nigeria are there for u to see...

There's so much more but I'm too disgusted to continue. I don't know how u can say every other thing is almost ok but for security and somehow u limit security to boko haram madness...well done.

Out of the abundance of the heart, does the mouth speak. You just revealed your sympathies.
We should tolerate homosexuality right?
