One of the interesting signs in Revelation talks about a star falling from heaven into a sea (within the boundary of the earth) and being called warmwood (or something like that)

There's no way this holy-spirit-inspired writers wouldn't be taking their words in the literal sense. It's reasonable and quickly easy to conclude that stars were tiny shinning dots fixed to the heavens in their era.

Bottom line: the writers couldn't be inspired by the spirit of the creator, they wrote from their own little advancing knowledge.

Calling them inspired by the spirit of the creator (God) is an insult to the creator (if there is one)
