Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh reportedly visited Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe at the club’s Melwood training base on Wednesday as he tries to persuade the 19-year-old winger to play for Nigeria.

Ibe was Born in South London, but his father is a Nigerian, so that makes him eligible to represent the three-time African champions and Oliseh is hoping he will commit to the west African nation despite featuring for England at youth level.

Despite Nigeria’s effort to ensure Ibe plays for their senior national team, the England Football Association are also keen on the talented forward to play for the Three Lions.

Nice,

The guy is a talented footballer and will be good for the Super Eagle.

I pray he doesn't end up like Victor Moses anyway!

That boy is talented but still raw.

if the boy doesn't play for us he's a goat.
England ll use and dump him.
just like Onuoha, Fashanu & Ameobi.
Has anyone wondered why Shola Ameobi got his 1st cap for Nigeria @ 29years. Because he was waiting for England call up. When it dawned on him that England doesn't need him, he honoured Nigeria. But it was almost too late. I remembered Christian Chukwu called up for the 2004 AFCON but he declined.
Last Bullet
Even BBC confirmed the news of Oliseh's visit. I think Oliseh went there with Pinnick.

If he is better than Rooney, he would merit a constant shirt in the Three Lions team any time any day, in fact, if he is half fit, he would still be called up for matches and competitions but the last time I checked, he isn't near him. Anything short of being on the same pedestal with one of their best players, he would be discarded like Agbonlahon grin.

Be wise, Nigeria is your best offer.

Rearing the young talents with the mature breeds brings stability to the squad. I hope he learns from John Fashanu and Agbonlahor's mistakes. Oliseh should go for Ola Aina and Dom Solanke of Chelsea, I think both are decent players too.

I love to watch this Ibe guy features in Liverpool matches. He has huge potentials. He just need to keep improving and keeps his head up.

Oliseh sees what I saw in this dude. He will sure build a formidable team once again and bring back the lost glory of the Eagles, that's what a good coach is all about.

Wishing him all the very best.

Long live Nigeria

Hope he said the right things...
This guy has seen, worked and is part of an organised football structure... You have to say the right things to persuade him join and play for/in our disjointed Football structure
