How I Install A Malware On My Android Phone And How Lucky Patcher Helped Me by Collinz2(m): 12:24pm On Aug 08, 2015
I was surfing the net last night and download some movies when my uc browser pop up an apk file for download, i was wondering why cauas i never click any link for any apk file to download so i just take a look at the name "mp4tubeplayer.apk" i said okay since it was a video player let me download it and see its features, i click on download and within 5sec download was complete cause it was a little sized apk.

I install it and when installation was complete i navigate to my list of apps and saw the newly installed app, to my surprise it was having a pornographic icon i said okay cause sometimes i watch porns.

I launch the app and i saw a black screen i waited some secs and it take me to another screen asking me to activate the app i tap on activate and it took me to another screen but this time it was white, after some secs it is still displaying white screen i quickly minimise so i could continue my surfing and downloading.

I open my uc browser and i was on a website where ip is been checked, so i was just playing around to make my phone timezone match my ip address, i swipe down my notification panel and tap on the settings icon, i was suprised to see that my phone did not open up the settings but instead another thing showing my real ip address, phone name and version, my network provide ans so on, i quickly scroll to see more and i saw somthing saying my phone has been block by the U.S F.B.I and telling me to pay so 1000$ to a paypal account.

i though it was because of the U.S ip i was using that caused it so i change it to nigeria ip and yet that message still showed up and that was when i realised that the app i recently installed was a malicious softwarw (malware).

Now what went through my mind is to uninstall the app but how? cauae i dont have access to my phone settings no more.
but bang LUCKY PATCHER was the second thing on my mind and i quickly launch it so i could uninstall it but no way cause it will still take me to the phone settings and it will say uninstall was unsuccessful. I was confused and i decide to use lp to freeze the app, freezing the app disable it but i cant still access my phone setting that msg still show. I also decide to use es file explorer to uninstall it but no prevail and the only way is to hard reset the phone

I cant just reset it, all my apps, data and tweaks will be gone cause i dont have a backup of my rom. Since the app is a malware i decided to see its permission.
I re-launch lp navigate to the malicious app select and click on info to see its permissions, and i saw these
1. It has the permission to use the internef
2. It can read my phone state
3. It can write on my sdcard
4. It can interfer with my call (both incoming and outgoing calls)
5. It can control my phone screen. Thats why i cant enter the phone settings.
6. And lot more

So i was just tapping anything i saw on lp and i notice lp can change the app's permission and i quick tap on it and i disable all the permission, rebuild the apk and lp install it.

I quickly go to settings and i was able to access it, i quickly rush down to app manager and uninstall the app and it was successful. My heart was filled with joy i delect every trace of the malicious app from my phone.

So guys mind the kind of app you download from an unknown source so u wont have the same issue like mine or worst.
