Fuel (petrol) used to sell for 110 naira to 120 naira in most filling stations in Ibadan. This has been the case since April.
However, something funny is happening right now in Ibadan. Since Friday, fuel stations are ALL selling at 87 naira ONLY. No need to buy engine oil, no need to tip, no funny meter readings, no minimum purchase.
The funny aspect is that filling stations now put EXTRA signs outside their station to BOLDLY say that they are selling at 87 naira. I never knew people feared government so much. The issue is the topic of most radio stations in Ibadan today.
