Staff And Students Protest Plot To Reverse Adeyemi University Status. by Nobody: 12:20pm On Aug 13, 2015
Staff (NASU, SSANU, NAT) and students of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, ondo, came out in mass today, 12th August, 2015 to protest the Federal Government’s purported plan to return the university to its former status of a college of education. The protest caused a gridlock on the Ondo-Oka/Ore road as commuters were stranded for about an hour.

The reversal is unacceptable... The school has more facilities than some of the existing fed universities.

Lie! They're affiliated to universities. Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo is affiliated to OAU, Ile-Ife, though they still run NCE programme.
@Topic: Jonathan was just bent on causing programmes, else I see no reason for upgrading select colleges of education to universities. Is it because of the spell Bishop Mike Okonkwo says he has?

I don't think this is proper,I was in one HOD office some weeks back when he showed me some documents from the Education ministry directing the change of names of all the school properties(Cars,school site,buildings renovation) to Adeyemi Federal University Of Education Ondo(AFUED)So what's the fuss about the return to the College thingy.

Yes, silly office. Infact there are some Crèches/Nursery/Primary school in the country that are having better facilities than the so called university. But about three months ago, the institution was just a College of Education and don't forget that no matter how Develop/Advance a "place" is, some other "places" are lacking behind and at the same time some other "places" are far better.

Maybe you are right, I only said some of the existing fed universities. I didn't say most or all...so, what's your point?
