President Buhari Tasks New Service Chiefs On Insecurity by nyol: 3:50pm On Aug 13, 2015
Swearing in the new service chiefs in Abuja today, the president said
You are all aware of the various security challenges facing our nation. These challenges include the activities of Boko Haram terrorists, armed banditry, kidnapping, militancy of various forms to mention a few.

The new service chiefs are Major-General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin (Chief of Defence Staff); Major-General T.Y. Buratai (Chief of Army Staff), Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Chief of Naval Staff) and Air Vice-Marshal Sadique Abubakar (Chief of Air Staff), Air Vice Marshal Monday Riku Morgan (Chief of Defence Intelligence) and retired Major-General Babagana Monguno (National Security Adviser).

All hopes and expectations are high on them for performance and need for results especially against Boko Haram insurgents.
