MzSheila: We can't say since we've not receive a regret mail yet. But last year both regret and successful received on the same day and it was at the middle of February so anything can happen this year, hopefully. |

My thought was that all invitations are sent the same day to allow level playing for interview booking |

Have you booked your interview date? I am seeing 3rd-7th of April as available dates. I thought they said Interview ends in May? Will more dates be released soon?''' |

I sent an email to Chevening Secretariat and I got a reply that: "All applicants will be notified of their application status by mid-February." |

pappiloo: I advise you forget about it and look forward. once u believe you have done your best, then that's good, you will surely achieve greater things by looking forward. The award is highly competitive and not everyone can be invited. Also, it seems like many of those who were invited have health related courses, probably because Nigeria chose health as priority area. all the best, just focus to explore other opportunities |

It is not impossible that some applications are still under review. Here is my prediction: not all successful applicants have been invited; some more persons will still be invited while unsuccessful applicants will be notified by February 15. 1 Like |

dazzlingd: Thank you, but none of us here is putting all our eggs in a basket and also being so curious about the programme does not mean its all we got but we committed things in this and as you can see, everyone that as not been invited yet are only looking for hope and excuse to stand on and for them to think they can do it. So, let us keep the hope up, it will cost us nothing. Moreover, only Chevening can say you are not invited. We have to keep a positive mind and hope for the very best. |

Yes o, let's not put all our eggs in one basket; the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is still on. I personally applied for about 5 scholarships this year (Chevening, Commonwealth, Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG), African Leaders of Tomorrow (Canada), Mo Ibrahim Scholarship, Schwarzman Scholarship). It's important to spread your luck. As for Chevening, I applied for MA in Corruption and Governance at the University of Sussex and I've got an unconditional offer.
