A few days ago I read of the demolition of a brothel by the government of Anambra state, I felt really bad, cos this prostitutes like everyone , are just trying to make a living,




Prostitutes exist due to demand, if the demand wasn't there, those girls will not be in that industry,



Many of this girls not only support their self with the proceeds the make from selling of their bodies but also their families too,





Am not preaching that being a prostitute is a good thing, all am saying is let the government make prostitution legal, as it is done in many other countries, then all Prostitutes will duly be registered and the government will be running tests for Aids and other STDs, weekly, and those infected will be deregistered and blacklisted from working as prostitutes,




Thus saving many who patronise prostitutes from infections,





The government might turn the other chick, but truth is millions patronise this prostitutes yearly and it is a billion dollars industry,





The excuse the government always gives is that criminals use brothels as their hideouts and many vices like drug dealing and pimping take place in brothels, but that is because it's not legal, legalise prostitution and many of this anti - social elements will no longer frequent brothels and truth is majority of people who patronise prostitutes are not even criminals,



That pastor raving on the pulpit about how the daughters of Jezebel are destroying the world and making many a man to sin, might be disguising and visiting the same daughters of Jezebel in the night,







I hope that the government will look into legalizing prostitution cos it's high time it became legal
