Don't be funny. The Calabar Carnival is about outlandish costumes and eclectic music. While it's entertaining and fun, it has little or nothing to do with the culture of the Efik or any known people for that matter.

Calabar festival is a very educative show, where each section of d band dances to illustrate a theme which has a high degree of connection to the CARNIVAL's central theme



& mind you, the Carnival is just a Branch of the Calabar festival, ITS A 32days Non-stop FEISTA #30 nov - 1st January

I see only one person here displaying ignorance on the difference between a festival with actual cultural depth (like the ones discussed on this post) and a made-up fiesta aimed at attracting tourists and their money (like the Calabar Carnival).
