you can't compare this with Hot 2 nah! They are not in the same class, even the price difference should tell you which is better but it has a better life than Hot2 and a very good 5mp camera.

i bought hot note 2 and the mini for some body and used them for 2daz beleive me if it weren't d screen size or 2gb ram i bet u mini is far more beta i dont tink any fone on dis planet earth has dat awsome 5mp with such brightnes d flash lite have been compared wit blod5 wiko z10 even d camera beats dem all. D mini is wel organized u can change font u ave up and down notification have a good power managemet hot note does not ave plz dont compare both hot note 2 camere is noting to write of or the flash lite. Its only avantage is it ave light notificatn 5.inch and 2gbram internal 16gb and dont metion d 1gb version

well you're right about the camera, it's the best 5mp I have seen so far. Gionee did a great job with this phone.

It has 3G on both Sim 1 and 2, No OTG support, OTA update is there but I'm not sure if it will receive or not, lastly it has no notification light.

Wow! This phone have a superb camera, I'm sure it was a mistake cos this camera equals or better many 8mp I have seen. I shoot this picture at night in a completely dark room.

Goinee gives update remember my my goinee m2 4.2 i upgrade it tru ota upgrade to 4.4 what amazes me is d flash lite i notice sumtin wen u use oda fone dat haz flash wen takin pic, d flash flashes very fast but mini does'nt d flash takes its time to view every hidden tin in dat vicinity b4 it flashes

exactly bro, when taking pics at night with this phone the flash light flashes first then it will off and take about 2 seconds before it flashes again and capture the image. Gionee did a great job here.

the phone is stubborn nobody has rooted it yet, I heard the bootloader is locked just like Camon C8.

can imagine how gionee m5 would look like if mini is like dis dey were supose to lunch m5 in june, it was shifted to sept, den dey create d clone of m5 mini 2.EAGERLY waitin 4 dat beast.no offences

next week, M5 will be launched in Nigeria market

this phone doesn't need r rooting.. it has awesome ram management.. network speed display and lot more.. all you could ask from a rooted phone

How ruggeged is this phone, everyone talking of camera, I bought on gionee sometiomes, it felt in water once and that's the end of his life, hope thiis rugged type that when it fall either in water or floor, it wouldn't be something that will die without resurrection, what's other things is good from the phone apart from battery and camera, can someone please answer
