1. The first thing you have to do is realize that this is not the end of the world. You have your whole life ahead of you and, no matter who else doesnt, God loves you and he's always on your side. If you trust him, life will be better than before.

2. Focus on your career. You may need to give more timeto your profession and the challenging areas of your endeavour.

3. It is wise not to attempt to contact each other soon after the breakup. Apart from impersonal interaction like work or worship, limit your interaction to the barest minimum (enough not to habour malice, or be enemies). This may hurt badly, but pain brings clarity and clarity brings closure. The pain may linger for a while, but let it. This is a way to begin healing process.

4. Learn from your mistakes. Take stock of the events of the past and see if it was partly your fault. Infatuation may have blinded you to character flaws that you should have seen from the onset. Determine not to make breaking up your hobby.

5. Though the temptation will be great at this stage, owing to loneliness and boredom, it is advisable that you do not rush into a new relationship too soon, no matter how charmimg or seemingly caring the person may appear to be. You need time. Take at least six months to reappraise your situation so you dont make the same mistakes again.

6. Read and meditate the word of God.

7. Do not bottle your emotions. Get them out. Talk to people: counsellors, friends and people who are genuine. You feel better when you unburdenyour heart, and it decreases your resentment of the situatiom.

8. Pray constantly. The only person in the world you cannot do without is God, not any man or woman. Get on with your life. Nobody has the power to put it on hold, not even the devil himself.

9. Reignite some aspects of your life that being in this relationship has put on hold. Sometimes in order to please your partner, you give up on things you usually like to do. Provided they are positive things, this will help you revisit them.

10. Intensify your association and fellowship with your brethen. You will find a lot of help and encouragement. This is another way to discover that, in the midst of disappointment, there can be joy.

Almighty God, We receive the grace to make the right decision. If we have to beakup, pls, help us to be bold enough to do it. And if you want us to continue in our relationship, we receive wisdom right now, in your name (AMEN)
