Re: Buhari To Give Primary School Pupils Free Meals. by anonimi: 8:06am On Sep 03, 2015 |
I thought they DENIED making such a promise before. Bloody LIARS and confirmed HYPOCRITES! Meanwhile school feeding is not a new thing. At least I know that Oyinlola did it in Osun state back then. Jonathan built INSTITUTIONS. Buhari is built on PROPAGANDA. 2 Likes 1 Share |

AngryNigerian: I was at the ocassion. Surprisingly, it was even Osun State that he used as the model and the reason why federal government is convinced to adopt it. According to him, contrary to the whole nation having growth in gdp but rising unemployment at the same time, the school feeding program in Osun provides jobs for farmers, caterers and poultry farmers such that Osun even needed to be importing eggs from neighboring states. When the audience murmured as to why a supposed failed state should be the poster state, He posited that because of the backward integration, Osun state has the 3rd highest gdp in 2014 in Nigeria (don't ask me where he got his statistics, he actually brought a truckload of data in PowerPoint slides. Note that he came to lecture not to deliver an address) and that is why despite the civil servants not being paid in Osun, its economy has not crashed because of the agric focus which permeate to the down-trodden. 1 Like |

Rubbish, why not rather empower their parents so as to take good care of their children. cos I know this free meal will not be applicable to rich polititians' children to avoid constipation 1 Like |

Party of contradicting contradictions. Thought the party denied this campaign promise. BTW Osibanjo appears to be the only one in APC interested in feeding students; others are either silent or openly denying it. Maybe its because of his background as a pastor. Remember Jesus fed 5,000 men, excluding women and children. PYO, PMB say treasury is virtually empty, Oshomole say one minister chop all the money, Amaechi say NOI carry the ''feeding'' money go build hotel,, and your party say PDP destroyed Nigeria and her ability to feed people for 16 years, and they need half that time to settle down; You no hear? Anyway Jesus did his with 5 loaves and two fishes borrowed from a boy. You can try your own miracle with your salary or borrow from Adeboye. Yeye fraudster!!! 1 Like |

I hope soon we won't here that it was Osinbajo that promised Free meals for Primary schools and not Buhari. We live in a country where workers aren't treated well enough and essential facilities aren't stable enough to enable the citizen cater for their own children themselves. Our leaders take pride in enslaving us and feeding our children for us. Its terrible. |

You sound like its a new thing. This project has been going on in Northern Nigeria, you guys should hurry and implement it in other parts of the country... What about bursary been paid in NORTHERN NIGERIA?? There are so many things going on on that part of the country than one can imagine.... If Nigeria is really ONE, this benefit should cut across all the states not only one sided... |

Let it not be the kind of food they serve on NYSC camp o! States' government should enforce discipline in teachers to live up to their bidding. Human capital development is a cognitive process and getting the foundation right is key. I suggest that our primary schools should be provided with all required logistics to very well kick start the capacity building of our children. |

As I stated earlier, school feeding is not a new thing. Osun State Feeds Students |
Re: Buhari To Give Primary School Pupils Free Meals. by Osisie(m): 8:20am On Sep 03, 2015 |
How does one meal a day improve our economy? See the kind of "food" they serve at NYSC camps. And that of IDP camps. I swear down, it's gonna be same with the school peeps. Are school children now refugees? That a federal govt now makes it a national duty to feed them. How did we get to this point? A govt that is supposed to be attending to more relevant issues are talking abt feeding primary sch kids!!! I don tire for this country o. And some pple voted these mofos in. Smh |

hope feeding the pupils as planned by the federal governemnt is not giving them Kosei "akara in hausa" and fura de nunu "hausa milk". those almajiris are used to eating it already and we in the south will stage a revolt if Pizzas are not served these children. |

DONMAYOR19: Tell APC supporters 'you will' even when it is obvious 'you will not' and see them dance skelewu. We should give them an award for the most gullible humans of the century. Even if Lai Mohamed tell them work has already commenced in building a multi-trillion dollar APC Secretariat to be situated on the Moon, they will gladly believe. 1 Like |

You are the illiterate.... Go and read up on school health.. one of the major components of school health is a school feeding program.. I remember as a child schooling even in this Nigeria, that there was milk at school everyday, even my people abroad too have school meals.. That's why most schools in US have a cafetaria.. where people do joint meals... It is at school age that the brain really develops and if u want good leaders for the future , it's a good intervention.. Pls be informed before saying things on a public forum thanks!! menesheh: 1 Like |
