Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi is seriously considering the idea of slashing workers salaries across all level in the state.

The State governor made the disclosure in a programme called “Voices” on Splash Fm this morning, monitored by OLUMO ONLINE, in which he dicussed the economic situation of the State.

The governor said this is necessary considering the current harsh economic condition of the state.

Furthermore, he threatens to sack and prosecute civil servants conniving with companies in the state to evade tax.

Meanwhile, he warned that, starting from the 1st of October, the government will launch a massive crack down on street traders.

While his mate in Ekiti is giving out house loan, car loan, food items as incentives to workers and still pays their salaries he is planning on reducing this little amount he is paying as salaries. Very soon, he will go aregbesola's way and stop completely. Anyway I don't blame him, they voted for him and must enjoy their reward.
