As a result of tendencies by hateful nigerian tribes to exclude, marginalise and bring down the south east and south south people, some key steps have been enumerated to safeguard the east and avoid a repeat of 1966 episode where the whole world joined hands with the federal government of Nigeria to commit the worst kind of genocide in the history of mankind.

1. The rapid investment in the east by eastern business.
The need for this can not be over emphasised as tendencies for forceful seizure, over taxation and deliberate hounding of businesses owned by igbos exist. A typical case is the annual rituals of closing markets dominated by igbos like the Ladipo market.
This can be resolved if igbos invest in agriculture and food processing business by turning over the numerous forest and fallow grounds in the east to palm plantations and rice farms. This will be followed by establishment of rice processing plants and palm oil refineries in the east.

2 . The end of eastern markets as a dumping ground for products made in lagos.
This will attract the much needed investment by placing focus on what needs to be manufactured in the east to prevent another problem where the borders will be closed leading to starvation of the east. Easterners business men are enjoined to replicate what ever products they buy from lagos in the east to prevent loss of capital and create jobs.

3. The retention of the eastern best brains in the east, the continous brain drain of the most intelligent brains from the South-East and South-South who schooled in the east to work in businesses, schools, hospitals etc is not only retrogressively foolish but self defeatist. A deliberate action has to be implemented by all eastern businesses ,individuals, government to start head hunting the bright brains from the east who are in the cities of lagos, Abuja to come back to the East and practice their craft, incentives can include capita, tax holidays, free office and living accommodation. These brains abound in the telecommunications industry, IT industry, banking industry, pharmaceutical industry, health industry where igbos own the best hospitals in lagos and Abuja, entertainment industry which igbos control.

4. The floating of an eastern career run and managed by a privately owned eastern affiliate.
At the rate igbos enrich other people's businesses while neglecting their own shows igbos as the most naive people in the World.
Profitability of air transportation business has been proven by ethiopia airlines, the east can replicate this as igbos are the most travelled people in Africa. The airline can be based in enugu and fly weekly to Dubai, China, Germany, south Africa while those countries can be encouraged to have their consulates in the east.
The airline will give additional employment and igr for the east.

5. The use of nearby ports for transit of goods to the east. The essence of a functional port can be seen in the transformation of dubai from a relatively unknown middle east village to economic and tourism power house and destination. Enough said.

6. The launch of an all eastern football team in Europe and Asia, this would pool the abundant igbo football talents wasting in Europe into a formidable team that would start from the lowest divisions and play it's way to the professional divisions. Football is big business for the igbos but unfortunately nothing has been done to promote this business by igbos.
The biafran football team will play a key role in the declaration of Biafra

7. The floating of igbo banks in foreign countries, even though the east can not float it's currency in nigeria at the moment. Nothing stops the eastern banks from internationalisation or globalisation. This will forever settle and prevent problems relating to the seizure of the currency of igbos by a hopeless bigot and the exchange with £20 nigerian currency

8. Massive and unrestricted preparations for the rainy day, presently nigeria is in very dire economic situation while the demented president is busy looking for funds presumably looted by Jonathan, very very laughable.
But as it is there is absolutely no preparation on ground to prevent the economic gloom staring the country in the face except to blame it on the past regime, very soon Iran which is one of the largest oil producing countries in world will open its oil taps leading to an over saturation of the oil market, glut in the oil industry, over production and doom for the nigerian economy and the unviable nigerian states.
South east and south south people must wean themselves of the oil money by diversification to manufacturing, agriculture and international trade.
