I AM NOT AN IGBO!!!
I am not an Igbo, but i'd say that the igbos contribute more to the economy of Nigeria, in terms of production, commercial services, entertainment, sports etc.
*Those yorubas saying they have more industries, do you know that majority of those industries are owned and controlled by the igbos.

*The igbos started nollywood and majority of nollywood directors and actors are igbos and nollywood contributes 2.0 percent to the nigerian GDP

*The igbos have been doing well in sport. legends like okocha, kanu etc are all igbos...

*If Igbos are not in Nigeria, the standard of living in Nigeria would be very poor and the cost of living would be very high i.e they wouldn't be able to afford foreign commodities.

*majority of the shoes, clothes we wear are made by Igbos and they are affordable.

*I'd say The yorubas and hausas are always oppose the igbos because they are jealous of there creativity and ideas.

*you and i know that if biafra republic eventually gains their independence the standard of living in Nigeria would be very low and the biafra nation would be prosperous and wealthy like singapore and dubai because of their cordial relationship btw themselves and their creativity.

You are a fool to think that most industries in Nigeria are owned and controlled by the igbos...

This is not even because I am a renowned chauvinist, but because these fallacies must stop.

Igbos are mostly retailers...that's a fact...they buy and sell and if u av a brain, u will knw dt any tribe cld do that. The Hausa tribe in particular does that even more effectively. A Hausa man is also a commercialist. Its a fact. They are also very industrious.

Second, if an Igbo man has a company, he's probably producting fake and substandard products. That is also a fact.

Most industries in Nigeria are not even indigenous, and most indigenous industries are owned by the Yorubas.

An average Igbo man is said to be astute in business and they flaunt their success. The fact is this, an Igbo man who sells plantain is to br successful because people wonder how he buys a car... The fact is, an Igbo man is a businessman by day and a thief by night...

Yes, I knw dt as a fact too.

Well, these are my opinions...and just as u posted yours...these are mine.

Another lie.

Our biggest human capacity export is the Nigerian music. 90% of all the songs have yoruba lines. Systematically popularising our language all over the world, after entrenching same in West Indies and Latin America.

Nollywood comprises all films being produced in Nigeria whether English Ibibio Igbo Hassan and Yoruba. English is our lingua franca without anyone having a monopoly of it. You can only claim the films solely produced in your language. How come Igbo films were the last to have a station on DSTV, after dancing your public shameful cry of marginalisation as usual?

Majority of whose shoes and clothes? What are the Chinese Vietnamese Cambodians and Myanmars doing? Majority of clothes are from Dubai and those are the countries that produce them.

everybody contributed to sports in Nigeria, it is not an exclusive filed of anybody. The fact actually shows that Igbos have brought more disgrace to Nigeria in the sport arena than any other group, by cheating through drug abuse. Classical example is the disgraced Chioma Ajunwa.

You have not been able to achieve your Biafra despite all your noise making. Why can't you start from developing your region and let us see a glimpse of the Biafra in it.

[b]human and mineral resources igbos are the highest contribution till date.In 1964 the World Bank named Eastern Nigeria the fastest growing regional economy on earth. At the time of this assessment, Eastern Nigeria was made up of the present five states of the South East, plus four out of the present six states of the South South. Reason for the assessment was that in 1964, Nigeria was the world’s largest producer and exporter of palm oil and palm kernel. Above 90 per cent of the palm oil and palm kernel came from Eastern Nigeria. Nigeria was the world’s largest producer of cassava. Above 60 per cent of Nigeria’s cassava was produced in Eastern Nigeria. By 1964, garri, yam and palm oil from Eastern Nigeria were sold in South Africa, Great Britain and the United States. Coal mining had reached commercial production and Eastern Nigeria had started making money from Nigeria’s coal export. By 1964 the Eastern Nigeria Development Corporation (ENDC) was Eastern Nigeria’s next highest employer of labor after the regional government itself; producing high quality garri, rice, vegetable oil, fresh eggs, frozen fish, frozen chicken, frozen beef, frozen pork and pork sausages, for domestic distribution and export.
