This is epic, after reading this OP will anyone still wonder why Catholics love and cherish Mary more than any creature?

This a woman that understood Jesus more than anybody. Before the disciples even had an iota of knowledge of whom Jesus is, she had already said 'Do whatever, He tells you'

Before people even knew there was a saviour she had already said 'My soul rejoices in the Lord my Saviour'

How then could she lead me astray, when she didn't lead the disciples astray.

How loving of Jesus to hand us over to her care on the cross of calvary.

There is nothing epic here . Catholics honor Mary in fulfilment of a bible prophesy where Angel Gabriel said all generation shall call her blessed. isn't Catholics that generation prophesied? Going a lil back, her cousin Elizabeth n her baby ,John the Baptist, in d womb felt the spirit of God which Mary carried .... the full story isn't from our imagination but in the bible. And besides ,when God judges the world what has religion got to do with it?
