Reverend Kristina Rake, 41, is the first female priest in catholic history. She was ordained on Saturday, September 5,2015 at the St. Mary Magdalene Old Catholic Church, United States. Rake, who currently resides in Chicago with her husband, Mark, and two kids, Katie and Nathan, said growing up she was always drawn to ministry but never was connected to a specific church. “I always had a very close connection to God,” Rake said. 1 Share

This denomination is not part of the Catholic Church, it separated from the catholic church decades ago and their female ordinations are not recognised. They are in communion with the Anglican Church. Female priestly ordinations are not carried out in the Catholic Church. 2 Likes |
