After they agree on something with the NITEL Reps, they will now come and be talking something different later. Deliberate delay tactics. What we want is for PTAD to announce date of verification before 2017 ends. Who all their meetings epp?

I was privileged to be among the nitel reps that went to U.I ibadan(verification center)to see the ptad boss yesterday and we were made to understand that the verification exercise will hold BTW Nov and DEC and that the date will be announced anytime soon.

Summary of Nitel pensioners meeting in Ibadan ystdy.:-
1) Ptad actually summoned a stkhlders mtng on 6th Oct. during which it was cfmd dat Our details were being transfered from Nitel computer system to Ptad. System
2) Timetable for verfctn wl be released as soon as the core federal civil servants are cnclded. Right now they are in Ibadan next and last is Northeast.
3) truly the Aften group showed up at d meetg n said they want 20years bulk payment. Ptad replied that their power is limited to monthly pensions ONLY. Anyone asking for bulk pension buyout should LOOK ELSEWHERE.
4) NITEL PENS ASSO wrote a letter same day to PTAD Dissociating itself from the activities of the AFTEN.
5) The verifctn wl go on as when due. Hence we shld hv all relevant docs ready including BVN (Card/printout wt photo from Bank), Age declaration and All the 4 docmnts scanned to Ptad.
6) As soon as the Timetable is out, we shld approach our Bank for Bank statement of the last 1-2 months.
7) Ptad is mandated to conclude ALL VERIFICATIONS before the end of this year.

pls, there is something I don't understand about this life monthly pension of a thing. is it that only monthly salary we will be receiving after the verification or there will also be sum of money given to us too

Those pensioners who have done their verification since July, have they been yet?

Southwest zonal meeting today;News has it that a letter was sent from ptad to nitel reps containing the verification date for nitel/mtel pensioners.I've not been able to confirm the date but I learnt is January. Details later

Better late than never. This is what we have been waiting for so it keeps hope alive. though this date in January is still far, let us all be hopeful. we are soon reaching the top of the tree to start tapping the wine.

Pls segzy are u sure cos ptad madam never said anything and still maintain dat after d conclusion of dsc verification for nitel would be announced so let wait or confirm want u said frm her twitter account so as 2 be sure
