Allah’s Punishment Awaits Any Muslim Who Collects Ram From Fayose by Mc4larin: 8:50am On Sep 16, 2015
League of Imams and Alfa in Ekiti State
have warned Muslims against collecting
Sallah rams from Governor Ayodele Fayose
over what they described as the deliberate
marginalization of Muslim members by Ekiti
State Government.

The clerics, who condemned the
lopsidedness in the appointments of
commissioners and other officials by
Governor Fayose, said that before resorting
to making their protest public, effort at
getting the governor redress the lopsided
appointment were to no avail.

The meeting of the Muslim clerics was held
held Tuesday at Anser- Udeen Central
Mosque Odo-Otu, Ado-Ekiti.

A statement by the Nigerian Supreme
Council for Islamic Affair (NSCIA) and
National Council of Muslim Youth
Organisation (NACOMYO) resolved that no
Muslim in the State should collect rams and
other food items if presented to them in any
form by the government.

The statement which was signed by the
leaderships of the Imams and Alfa said, any
Muslim that Collects such rams or food
items under any guise has taken Haram
(Unlawful) and the punishment of the
Almighty Allah awaits the person. (Quran 71
verse 28).
