Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Mr. Joe Igbokwe
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress says the Peoples Democratic Party did nothing good for the nation in its 16-year rule.

The Lagos APC said this in a statement by its state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe, on Thursday.

Igbokwe said the only thing the PDP did was to loot the treasury and run the country aground.

He, therefore, wondered why the PDP would continue to insult President Muhammadu Buhari who had only been in office for less than four months.

The statement read, “Nigerians are very much aware of the notorious record of despoliation left behind by the PDP which obtains in freely stealing resources that would have bettered the lots of Nigerians and leaving the country prostrate.

“This was the single greatest reason that led to the humiliating defeat the PDP suffered in March. But the party, choosing to play the ostrich, have struggled to make funny allegations that a President Buhari government that has made so much efforts to clear the mess left behind by the PDP, is not performing when it has no known record of performance to show for its 16 years of bizarre wreckage of the country and its economy.”

Accusing the PDP of plotting to pit the millions of Nigerians who voted for ‘change’ in the last general elections against the Federal Government by distracting the Buhari administration, the ruling party urged the opposition to bury its head in shame.

Igbokwe advised Nigerians not to be deceived by the many lies of the PDP.

He also urged the President to ignore the ‘noise’ of the PDP, adding that Nigerians were in support of his anti-graft war.

The statement added, “Lagos APC has, therefore, advised Nigerians to ignore the antics of the PDP and rather ensure that the party continues its retrogressive march to the grave for the grave sin it committed against Nigerians for 16 harrowing years.

“We urge Nigerians to continue to support President Buhari’s effort to clear the debris the PDP heaped on Nigeria through very strict management of the resources of the country and through an anti-corruption battle that will dislodge the corrupt structures the PDP employed to loot the country’s treasury.”

APC are just nothing but the real wailing wailers. Don't they think election is over and no more campaign. Haven't they realise they are no more the opposition party? Campaign even after election, what a confused fellow "APC"

We all knew that looting and crash impunity is synonymous with the PDP led administration especially at the centre.
My own grave annoyance and the resultant protest against them is that, the PDP tried so hard to divide my country men along ethnic and religious lines simply because they want to stay in power and loot, this is unacceptable to a patriot like me.

Someone should please remind APC that we have passed the campaign era... Stop attacking the PDP and focus on delivering your gigantic campaign promises. You can't be playing both the ruling party and opposition party at same time. When buhari starts to delivery his campaign promises, we will feel the effect, we don't need APC or PDP to tell us.

A closer look into this debate will point that the APC instead DESTROYED Nigeria in the said period. The President that led Nigeria in the FIRST 8years of the said 16 years is the undisputed Navigator of the APC. His Vice President is the APC political in the North. 70% of ministers and Governors that served during the administration are APC Chieftains including the Minister of Justice. ALL PDP National Chairmen that served under that period are APC Chieftains. One is a Senator under APC platform. When you move over to the 3years of Yar'adua administration, virtually 80% of the ministers that served in the administration are APC Chieftains. Moving over to the 5yeras of Jonathan administration, a percentage of ministers that served with him are now in APC. So how did PDP destroy Nigeria? It is a fact that Present Chieftains of PDP are 70% Newbies that were virtually nothing during the Obj and Yar'adua administrations while more than 80% of present APC are men that held positions since 1999.
