Authorities in Lagos State must act immediately to protect hundreds of families in the informal settlement of Badia East who are being forcibly evicted today, Amnesty International said on Friday.

Demolitions began on Friday afternoon after police had been in the community earlier asking residents to move out. a nation with acute shortage of accommodation is demolishing houses built by the citizens not because the govt would build them a new and better house or because the govt lacks other places to develop but because the people in govt are daft ,dumb and devilish
