If you have ever been in a relationship where your partner is very possessive then you will have no choice but to agree with the fact that it's incredibly problematic in dealing with such persons. Such a partner makes life unbearable and uncomfortable for you. Most often such a partner often takes irrational actions all in a bid to have you all to him/herself. Over possessiveness could lead to obsession.
When it gets to the level of obsession, anything is possible such as attempt 2commit suicide should you ever walk away. In some cases it might be a threat to kill you.
Once you detect such trait in your relationship it's highly advisable you make a U-turn or you might not live to tell the story.
WAYS TO DETECT A POSSESSIVE PARTNER
1. Always wanting to know your whereabouts, what you are doing, who you are with and ensuring he/she speaks with people around to confirm if you are truly where you claim 2 be.
2.Gets jealousy easily once he/she sees you with an opposite sex without even asking questions.
3. Total lack of trust
4. Constant nagging
5.Checks your mobile phone at any given opportunity
6.picks your calls without prior permission etc

NB: The above is purely the opinion of the op, any contrary opinion devoid of insults is highly welcomed.
