the tourism industry,if developed well could be another key source of income for the nigerian economy.

Rich in all you've manage to outline and even more, but where is the benefit on Nigerians...we have all the necessary requirement to be great and happy but I can tell you how we manage to fake a smile out of inner pain....Nigeria for you.

OP has some good points,however ,a typical tourist is not aware of these due the poor image of the country. The country needs to be known for something good and tourists will troop in.no 1 will be to sort out the security issue.

Tourists would rather go to Tunusia, Morroco or Egypt even with their issues. Also visa on entry or visa free option for tourists will really help.

Tourism is good for the economy and will create lots of jobs.
Tourism in Nigeria will be more like it is in the Caribbean or other African countries rather than the countries mentioned due to cultural norms.

Op do u welloo. But u forgot to let them remember to come with their chargeable lantern and touch as well as power bank. Also inform them that candle is not advisable at all.

Nigerians need to understand that other nationalities and races are looking for something different when they travel. They appreciate very different things to the Nigerian traveller. Many would rather go to Cambodia, Vietnam, Borneo, Laos and India over Dubai, Las Vegas or New York.

Other nationalities value different things and yes even the things you may hate about Nigeria.....they appreciate. The only thing is the PERCEPTION of being unsafe in EVERY nook and cranny in Nigeria when in reality that's not literally the case.
