Dear friends, is there a need to send your WES hard copy evaluation report to CIC before or after IELTS result comes out? |

beyunce: WES EVALUATION The WES Credential Evaluation Process Applications submitted to WES are processed in the following manner: Step 1. Receipt of Application Immediately after you submit an application and full payment to WES, you will receive a confirmation email with a WES reference number and instructions on how to submit your academic documents. You will be able to check the status of your application by logging in to My Account. Step 2. Verification of Documents Obtaining the appropriate documents is critical to the WES evaluation process. If WES determines that all the required documents are present, the evaluation will proceed. If any document and/or information is missing, WES immediately issues a "Document Request" asking for the missing documents and/or information. The file is placed on hold until all the required documents and/or information are received. If WES decides to verify the documents with the institution(s) that issued them, copies of the documents will be sent to the institution(s) with a request for verification. WES notifies applicants when their documents are sent for verification. All such files are placed on hold until WES receives a written response from the institution itself. There are no exceptions to this rule. Should the institution(s) require that a fee be paid to provide information, it is the responsibility of the applicants to pay the institution directly. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

beyunce: Please, is it possible for one to be eligible for EE and yet not eligible for SINP? I am currently in the EE pool, now I am trying to apply on OASIS under the 'International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry' category. My total points is 57, and a minimum of 60 is required. Just want to be sure I am not leaving something out. Thank you. |

If hubby decides not to accompany me for the purpose of increasing chances of us getting an invitation, will my score change from when we included spouse factor? |

Hello everyone. Please I'm confused about the CRS calculation. They did not ask about the working experience of an applicant spouse here in Nigeria. What they asked for was the working experience of the applicants spouse in Canada. So, does that mean the working experience of my spouse (here in nigeria) is useless and earn no points |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by SlowlybtSurely: 11:04am On May 14, 2016 |
muyiwaojo1: Yes, it is useless and earns no points. Only spouse's language test and degree evaluation earn you points. 20 points for language test with CLB 9 and 10 points for either masters or PhD, making a total of 30 points one can claim from an outland spouse. 2 Likes |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by SlowlybtSurely: 11:05am On May 14, 2016 |
Beem4cupid: If I remember correctly, your CRS will be calculated as that of a single applicant if your spouse is non-accompanying. This means you will not be subject to the 30points differential. Check the CRS tool. However, you have to know that bringing your spouse over to Canada after you move can be a herculean task. So, if you are ready to live apart for quite sometime, then you can go that route. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by beyunce(f): 12:50pm On May 14, 2016 |
iceberg54:Yes it is possible. SINP have their own requirements. So if your total points is 57, you are not eligible for SINP. |

Hello, I just saw my Ielts results: L6, R7.5, W8, S8. Overall 7.5 is this good enough or do I need to re-write the test? Would this be fine for the provincial nomination route? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by SlowlybtSurely: 9:12pm On May 15, 2016 |
Refreshagain: Check your CRS score to see what this gives you. You will be losing about 60 points though, cos of the listening score. You will have to decide if you want to go through PNP or rewrite IELTS to have a better shot at direct ITA. 1 Like |

[quote author=beyunce post=45585282]SINP has updated the application guide and introduced new occupations in demand. Some NOCS were also removed from the demand list. The new list is very short .This means, they might open for EE soon. So if your noc is on the list I suggest start gathering and upload your documents on OASIS.[/quote Thanks for the info |

Guys, pls I need help with this... My IQAS ECA is due in Nig on friday(at the latest), remember I still have a confusing WES ECA with which I got an ITA in April by selecting my degree as a First PD. Now my wahala is can I substitute IQAS for WES in the e-APR or should I decline the ITA and wait for a fresh ITA bearing in mind that my IQAS ECA's date is May 13 a month after ITA. What do u guys advice? Your replies will be appreciated. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 10:10am On May 16, 2016 |
I have been thinking about it since you posted that your IQAS evaluation is done. As your new ECA date is post ITA, It might be seen as if you did not meet the required CRS score at the time you got the ITA. Therefore, I think you should decline your current ITA. Since you have a very high CRS score, there is a high likelihood that you will get ITA in the next 1-2 draws. Another way of going about it is to create another profile today with your IQAS details as there might be another draw this week. iphie25: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by iphie25(f): 10:29am On May 16, 2016 |
dupyshoo: Thanks dear. I didn't even know I could create another profile while I still have a subsisting one. Thnks again. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 10:35am On May 16, 2016 |
You are not meant to do that. However, I did that when I wanted to decline my 1st ITA. As I was not sure the ITA score will be as low as my CRS score, I had to keep 2 profiles at the same time. I deleted the old profile after I had got the new ITA. Please note, you will have to use a different email address for the new profile. iphie25: 1 Like |
