It doesn't matter how beautiful or elegant something is, it will only be regarded based on the value placed on it.

I just realized how we have ridiculed and belittled Nigeria with our words and actions. Nigeria is struggling doesn't mean it is finished.

Place value on your nation just the way you place value on your possessions.
Let the change you desire for Nigeria begin with you.

Happy independence
You could blah those words, yes very understandable, very impressive. You know you have "value what you have", you have to be "optimistic" but you know what its fallacy. I could understand it when people reserve their very nice words for nigeria cos its quite simple...either you re a beneficiary of their wealth at others expense or you re just what they are, "failure".

Exactly! Whilst the slimy man was busy gallivanting about adorned in a pseudo toga of nationalism and been wrongly hailed "Zik of Africa", his people were already been slaughtered by the Northerners who were opposed to the notion of a union with southern Nigeria, especially with kith and kinsmen.

The only option proffered by the sardunna ( to this fake union) was that, they, the Northerners were placed in charge of our political destiny which Zik speedyly concurred with. He even objected to a secession clause been incuded into our constitution, at the time..

This illustrated clearly how desperate zik and his people were to form One (fake) Nigeria.

Well, we still have our pride, we still live as we believe. They are trying to take everything from us but they know they can't take it- our pride and dignity. It will be ever shameful and embarrassing to them that what they reap today to our own expense is our pride....that is what they Can never take- our dignity...our pride. We are what we are.

This is what you get when you deprive your people freedom.

THE COLONIALISTS NEVER MEANT WELL FOR NIGERIA. ZIK AND AWO WERE MORE EDUCATED, EXPOSED, EXPERIENCED AND RATIONALLY AUTONOMOUS THAN BALEWA. RELEGATING ZIK TO A SECOND FIDDLE AND AWOLOWO TO THE OPPOSITION LEADER WHILST BALEWA WAS PRIME MINISTER WAS AN ATTEMPT AIMED AT ENSURING THAT THE REIGN OF POWER STILL INDIRECTLY LIES IN THE HAND OF THE SLAVE MASTERS. WHAT A SELL OUT.

Good question. Ask the dolt also where was his ancestors when Great Zik went to Havard and Ivy League and single handedly championed the independent state of Nigeria?
