This is Amaraku City In Imo State, a town few kilometers away from Owerri the state Capital, Sometime in 2012 the Executive Governor of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha pronounced Amaraku and some other suburban cities as a Mega cities , He went ahead to unveil the infrastructural design on AIT( African independent television), unfortunately the whole exercise was targeted at deceiving Imo people Especially those resident outside the state . Today Amaraku is worst that it was before the inception of Okorocha, s administration , No thanks to the activities of food is ready Contractors who only did excavation and due to non payment by the state Government absconded from the site . As we continue to unveil Imo state under Gov Rochas Okorocha for the World to see, we urge those close to him to advise him to have a rethink on his nonchalant attitude on level of infrastructural decay across the state especially in the State Capital . *The picture attached is what megacity Means in Governor Okorocha's Dictionary!!!!!! God help Imo State.

I wish this is propaganda but unfortunately it's not! Imo State as we know it - a beautiful, very serene and clean state is now something no one can easily recognize. The worst legacy any government can give is leaving their state worse than they met it. This is exactly where this so called Rescue Mission Chief - Rochas has left a state he assumed leadership through the goodwill of the masses. But I do not blame him too much since one cannot give what they do not have. He doesn't have quality leadership in him and making poor decisions seems to be his characteristics. How else can one explain the choice of a governor to go for decoration of the environs of a major round-about but not fix the bad spots/poor design of the said road. This example is consistent in all the policies of this man called Rochas. I have come to give up on the man. He is a summary of politicians (with very few exceptions) that have plagued Nigeria in the name of leaders since independence: A waste of our collective time and resources! |
