Nigerians living in America are fond of hyping the United States. Most Nigerians that are dying to go to America will be surprised when they get there that their lives are far more better living in Nigeria. Do not believe the hype, Americans with college degrees are struggling and most who are 35 years old are living with their parents. In America you don't own your house till 30 years time. And even after you make complete payment 30years after the government can still take it from you if you stop paying property tax. Young Americans are drowning in student loan debts. Most Nigerians portray Registered Nurses as rich but they are not. A registered nurse will only be rich when a Nigerian tells you. Americans don't consider them rich people. They are just there, living paycheck to paycheck. Do not be deceive, you are better off staying back in Nigeria, though it might take a longer time but eventually you are more likely to reach the height of success in Nigeria than in America

Here is a link. Most Americans can't even raise $500 to $1,000 in an emergency. I am talking about first class citizens and not Nigerians who went there to work as 3rd class citizens. And also 62% of Americans are one paycheck away from living on the street. http://money.cnn.com/2013/06/24/pf/emergency-savings/index.html

Here is a link to counter those who keep lying that in America everybody is given an equal right to succeed when in reality it very far from the truth.

It doesn't matter since 48 million Americans are on food stamp meaning they can't afford to eat without government support. The barrow pusher in this case might even be better off. Thanks

Has the o.p ever been to the developed world before. There is nothing wrong with trying to console yourself but please do not compare death and sleep.

And who gave them "developed world"? You need to wake up from that slumber cos sleep is the closest a living man have seen close to death

It's not only about money

Well for most Nigerians it is all about money until they get there and experience the reality first hand then they start saying it is not about money like they actually went there for basic amenities

Not really, just trying to let people know what is really going on. The minute a Nigerian hears about America he thinks he is going to heaven.

Bro have you seen the way Nigerians in America look down on people living here? This post is about countering them because in actual fact remains that the most successful Nigerians live and work in Nigeria
