Before you blame anybody for anything, you must be able to point out the alternative course of action that should have been taken, so when you blame the US for invading Iraq, should the US have allowed a Saddam Hussein government to refuse nuclear inspections? When you blame the US for enforcing a no fly zone on Libyan cities leading to the ouster of Moammar Ghadaffi, should the US have allowed the Libyan government carry out its public threat of brutally suppressing an uprising of whole Libyan cities within 48 hours? If Buhari want to suppress an uprising in Yenagoa or Warri by using the airforce to bomb out the protesters, will you be against the US imposing a no fly zone on those cities?

You blame Colonel Ojukwu for declaring Biafra but the country was already divided and a meeting had to be held in Aburi Ghana because Colonel Ojukwu said he can not attend any meeting wherever there are Northern Nigerian soldiers, be it Lagos or Kaduna since he would be murdered for being Igbo and Igbos did not start the carnage, the carnage was started by brainwashed Hausa Muslims in the 1940s. You blame the Yoruba for fighting Biafra but as a Yoruba leader would you have voted for accepting Igbo overlordship with an Igbo Governor in Lagos and an Igbo puppet in Ibadan? Put yourselves in their shoes and consider that the Midwesterners of lower population attacked the Biafrans and killed 50 soldiers but were overwhelmed.

So think before you talk and let your words make sense. If you can not put yourself in other people's shoes, then you are not a full human being.

You can adopt the Rotaract four way test for your speech and actions and to evaluate the actions of institutions and people. It will make you a better person.

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
