Again, some people think I am a fruitcake whenever I say there is an occult cabal of retired military general still governing the affairs of Nigeria since the 1970s. Unfortunately, it is an esoteric and inconvenient truth about the Nigerian status quo. Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke is a poster girl of the post-military era of a ruling elitist class of retired military barons hoodwinked as 'democratic politicians'. She is a powerful key to an underworld of corruption in the ruling political class vis-à-vis the petroleum sector of our economy. They know that prosecuting her will be a pyrrhic victory because if she is jailed, Former President Goodluck Jonathan, eminent politicians and some close affiliates of northern nobility families, within and outside the ruling political party (APC) will also go to jail. It is an institutional web of corruption; who wants to challenge Nigeria's biggest hydras of bribery and corruption; The Ministry of Petroleum and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to an epic battle? It is a life-and-death situation. When you truly fight corruption, it will fight back, and you must be prepared for a bloody battle. Corruption is bloody and ruthless monster.

Who is Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke? Call this, rhetorically, "Who Is Who" of the Nigerian Hall of Infamy and Impunity. She is the wife of Rear Admiral Allison Amaechina Madueke; a retired military General. As Navy Captain he was appointed governor of Anambra State from January 1984 to August 1985, and then of Imo State until 1986 during the military regimes of Generals Muhammadu Buhari and Ibrahim Babangida. After his promotion to Rear Admiral, he served briefly, from 1993-1994, as Chief of Naval Staff under General Sani Abacha.

Do you see the military connections? In the 1970s and 1980s, we had a military junta system of government, the Nigerian military was like a powerful cult. 'Loyalty or Death' was the ultimate law for senior military officers; it was the era of coup d’état. Remember how General Ibrahim Babangida signed the death warrant of his bosom friend, General Mamman Vatsa, and executed him because he suspected General Mamman Vatsa was part of a coup plot against his regime. Loyalty was like a blood covenant, and these retired generals still share a powerful bond of fraternity and loyalty among themselves still today.
Do you still think a Nigerian military general will allow his beloved wife to be successfully convicted by a civilian court of law and sent to a civilian jail? Even if it takes the last drop of his blood, it will never happen. He will rather take the place of his wife. This is why a military officer will rather die in insubordination than lose his dignity. This is no emotional crap, it is the truth.

The worst-case scenario is; Mrs. Alison-Madueke get an insubstantial and protracted court case that will end in futility. At the moment, trust that they preparing an intriguing script for the her case. A melodrama to satisfy the appetite of the gullible Nigerian populace for a ‘fight against corruption’. This will entertain the Nigerian masses until they subliminally forget about the ‘Alison-Madueke’ saga. The Mass media is a very powerful tool for disinformation and propaganda. Remember the lovely and enduring puppet of the Federal Government, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), still has the largest Analog/Digital television network coverage in Nigeria. This television network would work well for their agenda.

It is high time Nigerians woke up to a new political orientation. As a kid, I was told "No one is above the law," now as an adult I understand better.
Do you still doubt the existence of a powerful cabal of retired military generals that operates beyond the sovereignty of the Nigerian Constitution? At least I have mentioned some names, you can decipher the rest for yourself.

In a communist country like the People's Republic of China (PRC), Mrs. Alison-Madueke would most assuredly be sentenced to death by firing squad or lethal injection for her financial crimes. This is standard execution protocol as defined in the Chinese Criminal Procedure Law.
Friends, this is not China, this is Nigeria. Welcome to Nigeria! A place where the unspeakable horrors of corruption are possible. Mrs. Alison-Madueke will never be convicted and jailed for her crimes, I can bet my life on this case. In our Nigeria, All 'things' are possible! Unfortunately or fortunately, if she is eventually convicted and jailed by the British Government, of course, it will never happen in Nigeria; personally, it will be the biggest political shock of year 2015; when the self-styled ‘goddess’ of the Nigerian petroleum industry relinquished her divinity.

On a final note, I end with an excerpt from Dr. Ben Carson, 2016 U.S. Presidential Aspirant, Announcement of Candidacy Speech:
“And I’m saying to people around this nation right now, stop being loyal to a party or to a man and use your brain to think for yourself. That is really the key to us as a nation becoming successful again. Not allowing ourselves to be manipulated by people who think that they are the kingmakers, who think that they are the rulers of thought. They are not the rulers of thought. We, the people are the rulers of thought in this nation.”

Shalom!
