Me, I've been on uber offline since Monday. I Wonder what I'll be doing with uber peanut. I bought my car close to N2.2m. I use it for uber and its my personal ride. Why will I want to kill d ride so soon. People like romeo3 are on rentals. They will destroy d car and hand it over to d real owner.

I have been reading the happenings about Uber and Taxify for some months now on this platform and I would like to suggest that what is happening to an average Uber partner is as a result of our peculiarities as a nation because we find it difficult to organize ourselves and speak with one voice and that is why our leaders treat us like slaves in our own country. It is un imaginable for a company such as Uber who only came up with an app for riders to be claiming 25% inspite the reduction in fare at the detriment of the real people who are committed to business that is the car owners who contributed the resources and the drivers who have contributed their time. I think is high time the investors and drivers came together and iron this issue out once and for all by either doing away with Uber completely until they reverse these inhuman policies because what is onground now is pure slavery and wickedness. People like Romeo should work with other drivers and partners as what Olugbenga , Xana are clamouring for is for the good of everyone. I think it would be so stupid and gullible of anyone to keep praising the current price regime by Uber!

OlugbengaE:
How I wish there can be an organised action against uber.

The truth is it may never happen.

When drivers go offline there will be surge tell me how many o these hungry drivers will not jump ship when they see 3.0 surge?

That us precisely the point. If everyone goes offline at the same time, there will be surge. Then we all go online and enjoy the surge. The next day we do the same thing at an agreed time, and then enjoy the surge and then go offline. I tell you Uber will be forced to react. We have the power to create surge and enjoy it. By the time riders are getting frustrated with paying plenty surge money and stop using Uber then Uber will be forced to increase their prices to pacify drivers. Trust me it will work.

Hmm am not an auto specialist, but with current situation of things on uber, I will advice you to go for corolla, because EOD is expensive to maintain and it's not as durable as corolla. If not well maintained the gear box gives alot of issues. That's my take.

that's what i've been saying all along. if am not in charge of major maintenance i could drive my ride twenty hours per day too and accept ALL requests just to break even.

Thanks for your contribution. True the eod is more expensive but I'm working with figures here, used corolla of the same year is quite higher hence why I want to go for a Honda.

That's good news for rome3 and other hardworking guys.

They are trying to frustrate taxify, rather taxify is winning.

If no cancelation, riders will joke with your life. Infact some will ask you park, when they are done with shower, they will join.

It might work, if we have numbers. What we are looking @ is getting real car owners to join and of course some will benefit from the action.
It WILL not work because of surge.

Three guarantors. For wetin

Just drive the car yourself.

E-hailing business is all about risk taking

The no of guarantors will not reduce the risks

Please house, I need urgent response to this. What does it mean when your Uber driver app says "your account is being reviewed". Does it mean someone has to go to their office.

You're probably been waitlisted and might need to visit their office.
