Please has anybody received payment for Saturday's 2x guaranteed promo from uber? Is it what they referred as promo in last week's account statement because if it is, it's way below what I should get.

I don't yet. But I'm very cautious with getting one. Had some discouraging stories of some bad drivers misusing cars. Its a corolla 08

Taxify office around Alapere? I doubt it. The only connection I know about taxify and Alapere is the inspection center at Heyden petrol station at Alapere. Taxify office I've heard of is at 2nd floor, providence house(beside forte oil and tantalized) Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1

The people on Nairaland work at Uber head office. Stupidity at its best.
With stupid replies such as this one, it is very very easy to deduce that you aren't getting enough sex from your husband. Stop snapping at every post you come across. Shut up if you have nothing to say. No one will judge you for keeping quiet. No one here is the source of your frustration.

Has Uber business turn to charity?

Anybody who goes into business, does so for profit.

There is nothing like slavery here, work and earn ur money.

If you need charity go to church where you pay ur 10% or meet the rich men in ur village to help u.

Don't come and be expecting owners that want to improve their business to adjust to ur own term, because you tagged them inhuman, the humanity should start from ur village or church.

I have always tried to avoid u but it seem u want me to address u. Please who do u think u r? You lack manners and always try to hide under those that can give coins.
You might have made d whole billions in d world but this does not make u a superman or superwoman. UBER is not a charity organisation agreed but is it bad we r kind to ourselves? Make una take am easy oooo.

We came with nothing and we r going with nothing.
Like ur name implies, parrot,if u don't have a humane heart I advise u keep ur mouth shut and let those with the heart of gold assist if they could. With your business acumen,I hope u made billions last year.
As for we drivers I advise u guys to be up and doing. With resilience and determination u will have u own cars. That's my prayers. Then most wicked and inhumane car owners like parrot(that's if he/she has one) will come and work under us.
The bible has said it, kings can become slaves and slaves can become kings.

LOL, stop with the name calling, that's low even for you

omatynx:
Apparently some guys on this thread are frustrated slowpokes. I can tell from their comments here. I'm new on Uber, I tot there is usually inspection of cars only to be told something else today at their office. I see no crime trying to hear from ppl with experience to confirm if there used to be inspection. Its possible the lady who attended to me wasn't on same page with me. Also I wasn't d only guy at Uber office today, I'm sure other ppl will ask same question I did and might still be nairalanders too. If u don't have any positive thing to say just hush!!!

Can u see what u wrote? If u default u loose. U lack empathy. Have u ever asked urself what if d car develops fault and it will take longer to put it in shape, will he steal to pay u. U r beginning to sound like my first partner. So selfish and unreasonable. He forcefully took d car I have paid for five months from me all because I could not pay for a week. Whereas the car developed an engine problem that the mechanism has to loose the engine up to the gasket. After I spent 70k to put the car back in shape, the wicked man still retrieved the car because of one week default. I have pod 40k weekly for 5months amounting to 800k. And h think I am happy with that. Anyone who eats another mans sweat will never go unpunished in Jesus name And u think such man will have it easy in life? Na lie.

Nobody prays for bad.

But business should be strictly business. If you default then you loose, that's rules.
