Please I'm trying to apply for a post graduate diploma which will take up to 12 weeks of study in London. I currently have a 2-year visit visa and I saw online that I have to apply for a short term study visa. Could you please advise me on how to go about this or direct me to a thread for short term study visa.

I got a mail that my application was not straightforward on 7th Feb 2019 and i got another not straightforward mail on 22nd Feb,2019.
I called them on monday 25th Feb,2019.still have not heard from them.Today makes it 24 working days.I am worried and it is 6 months visitor visa..










Happened to my friend in Sept last year. We called them several times, yet nothing. He received another not straightforward after the first one. Anyway, his visa later came out, even when the date of the exam he was supposed to come to the UK had passed.

i use to get title income sometime which not pass 150k from friends last year to my salary account, but someone send 300k to me in January 25th, did i need to explain the source of the money since i don't have any other source of income?

I am new here.i applied to join the british army and they have sent me an accessment letter to travel to the uk for my interview and accessment.from the start of the application the army made me aware they are responsible for my visa. So i have to apply for a visitors visa.
1.please i want to know the documents my sponsor in the uk should provide me to add to my application
2.i am working already so i want to know the document to add to support my application
3.i visited the uk in 2012 when i was in the university and in my final year i wanted to visit again but i was refuse.please will that affect my new application

I've got a few questions:

1. I have a letter of invitation from a family friend in the UK. Do I need to get their bank statement and data page as well? Or is the invitation letter sufficient?
2. I am sponsoring myself for the journey. How many months of bank statement do I need? Or is a closing balance enough?
3. In my bank account, there was a large deposit which is from maturation of Treasury bills purchased 6 months ago. I plan to attach the treasury bill purchase certificate which shows date of purchase and date of maturation. I hope this is okay.
4. For the residential address, I live in my family house; been here for nearly 20 years. No C of O. Do I need to submit anything at all?

I am a MSc Student at North Cyprus and I am here with my wife who is also an MSc student here.

My father is a British and he wants me and my wife to come and visit him in the UK during the summer. In the letter, he’s going to explain that he will sponsor the trip.

My question is that, do I need to prove I have some funds as well?
How do I convince the consular to a reasonable extent.
