the Anambra Election Tribunal sitting in Awka has upheld the election of Hon. Emeka Anohu of Ihiala Federal Constituency. Ruling on the case, the tribunal first struck out the petition by Hon Fort Dike of the All Progressive Congress (APC) seeking for cancellation of the election for lack of merit while further ruling also, dismissed the plea of Mr Ifeanyi Momah of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) who asked to be declared winner of the election. Ruling on the case, the Tribunal said the plaintiff presented unsatisfactory evidence through his witnesses that the elections in Uli Ward One was rigged or never held.
