I was in Owerri over the weekend while ewu-awusa was busy socialising with his real brothers. What immediately strikes you in Owerri is the very bad condition of roads and the resultant hold - ups all over the town. Add to that the incessant complaints of unpaid salaries and then the fact that the state government is owing so much. One can not help but ask 'Rochas (whatever that means!)!!! what is going on?!!! And to think that my people will endure this another 4 years.... 4 Likes |

The spokesperson wasn't truthful. They rejected their salaries because of disagreement with government on salary scale not that Government refused to pay them. What they are fighting is Government reduction of their salary scale to be at per with other ministries and other States. |

When the top man, in the state is too busy throwing parties, and dancing shoki, in the stead of actual governance. That is one reason, I don't agree with the style of governance displayed by Fayose, they both can't for one minute, stop acting, and be real. |

Why do you think you are the only one that has the correct information as against others? You are actually swimming against the tide because a lot of horrible news will still continue to emanate to disprove your stance. By the way we are still in Genesis** abagoro: 5 Likes |

Nature129: It does not call for quarrel and unnecessary outburst..just calm down, am sure the governor is on top of the situation. Besides it is very unfair to call him an Hausaman, he is an Igbo man. |

chinology: It cannot be less than fight. It could be war. The ppl are hungry. The few who are not hungry are very angry. Talk of roads. His footsmen will start talking about opposition inciting ppl as if opposition is not entitled to ride on waves of his many failures to unsit him. Talking about privatization, let him clear arrears of salaries first. He wkll find that a lot of ppl will walkout of the state service that has been messed up excerpt the few unskilled ones. Doctors, nurses and most others are are skilled and sought after. Some have secured jobs elsewhere. He will go down in history as the one who sacrificed the once vibrant Imo State Civil service. |

I think the governor meant well except that GEJ sabotaged the state which is making it difficult for the state to pay salaries but Buhari has assured the governor that it will be taken care of. Just calm down. Mbediogu: |
