President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said the future of Nigeria belongs to the country's teeming young people.

He promised that his government would continue to work with young people to run a country that they would be proud of.
According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President said this in a goodwill message to mark the 10th anniversary of Statecraft Media Company, owners of Red Media Nigeria, in Lagos.
His message was read by Shehu.

He described the firm as an example of what the country's young people can achieve with vision, right focus and effort.
The President praised Red Media for its contribution to youth and national development, especially for the part the group played in actualising the change mandate of March 28.

He said, "Red Media was our window to the wide world of the social media throughout our campaign.
"They did well connecting us to the youth, who in turn, seized the CHANGE campaign and made it happen."
He also noted that Statecraft handled a major aspect of the social media for the APC Presidential Campaign, adding that they ran a successful campaign, despite having limited funds.

"I would like to use this opportunity to thank Statecraft for their contribution towards the success of the APC Presidential campaign, and to restate my administration's commitment to partnering with our young people, especially those of them active in the social media that this administration will not waver in its commitment to run a transparent and accountable government," he added.

this man is truly a dullard the future belongs to the youth yet he decided to appoint old cargoes as his ministers without appointing a single youth.
