let's get this fact right..ABU is in no way the biggest University in Nigeria talking about land mass. The University of Abuja is the biggest University in west Africa with a total land mass covering about 11,824 hectares. I know it doesn't change the price of garri in the Market nor the distance between my ears.. it's for reference purposes simple. from Wikipedia: The university as its mini campus in Gwagwalada , Abuja , Nigeria and a permanent site covering about 11,824 hectares located along the Kaduna - Lokoja - Abuja Road. The Permanent site is home to the Faculty of Arts, Science, Veterinary medicine, Agriculture,college of medicine and contains the university senate and other administrative building. Op, hope you know Unilorin's land mass is 15,000 hectares. But then, I think any University can acquire land mass, Nigerian institutions need to step up to deliver world class education, then the land mass can make sense. |
