The blackboard is so old, chalk disappears into stains that look like recently dripped wax.This is not a case of poverty. Nigeria's education budget is $1.97 trillion.

Many private schools are modern. But schools run by the government, especially in rural areas, are neglected by politicians accused of pocketing money designated for educating the the country's youth.

Skills to acquire before youth service NYSC
Delay in our educational system is evident, this is why graduate have for several month after graduation before going for the youth service cops. The term African time is not only evident in our social lives, even in our education system is evident, and this is why even our universities are not left behind. The fact the NYSC 2015 batch C is cancelled is not far fetch from the course of the 2015bv electioneering. But this is not the first time and I don’t think it is going to stop in next few years.
Most graduate are left stranded with no direction to follow , some want to seek for employment, some want to mcontinue reading

They build supersized churches and mosques to continually brainwash the gullible and pliable. Yet,can't put up a modest structure to train the young and up coming. And we wonder why the country is still a cesspit.

@ all,
Pardon me if I am wrong, seems we are all focussed on the environment they study in.
However, I noticed that (it seems) boys are seated in the front row and girls at the back.
If I am right, then a short sighted girl has triple disadvantage: uncomfortable seating; inability to see the board & financial incapacity/lack of knowledge of eyeglasses.
I am more concerned about this because I experienced what being short sighted and having to sit at the back ( because I am tall) can mean to you, you have to be guessing what the teacher is writing.
I hope I am wrong though. Thanks.
