Dangote, a Hausa/Fulani, from the North, undoubtedly, still makes the number 1 spot for richest Nigerians, together with a few other Northerners but I find it interesting to that there are more Igbos than other tribes making the list, which lends credence to the equitable distribution of wealth in Igbo land where wealth distribution is nearly almost equally distributed amongst everyone and there is an absence of financial extremities such a few very wealthy individuals and a greater pauperized remainder population.

i know you're saying this because you see a lot more of Igbo names. Ask yourself why. Most Nigerians billionaires get their money from oil scams..remove that from the equation and you'll see less names. Would you be saying this if there were less igbos? What you would have said is "these chest beaters can't even reach us in money"..we all know you're a known tribalist.

@topic, most Igbos are expanding and thinking east..thank God for that. The more you hate the igbos, the higher they rise

Yet Folorusho, the richest black woman is not listed.

Hard to take your list seriously.

Even Davido's father is not listed, who is a billionaire is not in the list.

Who compiled this trashy list? No valid source.

I guess this is a feel good thread for Igbos, compiled by Igbos

shes on the list; no. 23. you keep mentioning oil fraudsters. Am even even surprised otedola is still high up on that list. Oando posted their biggest lost ever in their history this year. Watch as oil thieves faulter very soon. Op said the list is based on their products and its importance to the Nigerian market. Not subsidy scammers with unexplained wealth

The is 1 of the lopesided & biased ratings that triggers tribalism & e-wars on Nairaland. The following people have no business being on that list.

Cosmos Maduka - Yes he's rich but I doubt if his networth is up to $200 Million.

Raymond Dokpesi - Like seriously? Dude Daar Communications is at the edge of Bankruptcy. Staffs are being owed up to 6month salaries.

Leo Stan Ekeh - Who tha f.uck is he? Is his networth up to $1 Billion?

Vincent Amaechi Obianodo - Dude you're crazy! I could as well include Davido's Father and the Olugbo of Ugboland in Ondo State - Oba Obateru Akinruntan [Obat Oil].

Tell me if any of these guys can match Otunba Subomi Balogun of FCMB in nethworth - A.sshole!
