Meanwhile, the Nigeria Immigration Service has warned that tearing your passport in such a manner is illegal, a crime and attracts a jail term. But most of the people who have so far shared videos of themselves tearing their passports live abroad. One wonders how they plan to travel around now.

Very funny lot! Those were almost certainly Nigerian International Passports already stamped... 'DEPORTED', or at best, expired a million years ago. SMH.

I can also pick my friend's Nigerien passport and tear it, claiming its my Nigerian passport......some people seriously and urgently needs psychiatric attention...
