Ministerial nominee flays JAMB influence on education A ministerial nominee and Vice Chancellor of Imo State University between 2000-2005, Anthony Anwuka has blamed the current Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, for the current challenges facing the education sector. He accused the institution of converting the colleges of education into dumping grounds for students universities rejected and also blamed the recent merging of JAMB into the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME. The nominee who was being screened as a possible Minister of Education, stated this while fielding questions from senators during the just concluded ministerial screening exercise.
