That's what am saying.. Our colonial masters sold everything to us..

And we are still where we are...

Just imagine where would have been today as a nation if we were taught with our indegenous language..

Now they tell you can gain admission into higher institution because you had a pass in only English language, even if u had credits in other subjects.

In the days ahead, I will be saying something on this..

I get where you are going, but that is only possible in a monolingual nation.

I learnt the number of languages in Nigeria is above 200. How can we understand one another if we each speak in our indigenous languages?

Since English language is the general understandable language of communication in Nigeria, then it becomes imperative for those seeking admission to speak and understand English well. So, requiring a good grade in English is not a requirement out of place.
