Denn: Have you heard of a joule thief? You can use two AA batteries to power a CFL energy saving bulb for 3hrs. Have done it before. I also have some DC DC converters ; using a power bank of 5v output, I power a portable 12V TV. Search YouTube and be enlightened. 1 Like

warrior01:This is not something new. For long now, it's being in use up north here. In fact, we now no longer boil our shaye (local tea) using manual fan to blow life into charcoal. So, it not Igbo made technology as some have been commenting and want us to believe here 1 Like |

The batteries can only serve the purpose of igniting another fuel. They can't be the source of the heat. |

Imagine he could mass produce that stove and have it in every shop in Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Morocco, Kenya, e.t.c. An industry would have been created and development happens. Indeed, only science can solve a nation's poverty problem. |

Leopantro: Stop acting itk.... Read the attached screen shot and tell me how a change in voltage at the expense on current will cook stubborn beans with tiger battery When you use your tekinologi to cook beans with a wristwatch battery, wake me up

Why should you lie, or better still, know what you are talking about. I can see charcoal beneath the pot and a fan powered by battery to blow the coal. kids in Kaduna has been doing this 29BC |

ILLITERACY IS A VERY BIG DISEASE.? HOW DO ONE THINK THESE BATTERIES CAN GENERATE ENOUGH HEAT ENERGY FOR COOKING.? THIS IS JUST A WISH, WHICH IS NOT FEASIBLE (REALISTIC). EDUCATION ILLUMINATES THE DARK PASSAGE OF IGNORANCE. 1 Like |

Aba people are indeed making Nigeria proud, just need a little support and encouragement from government to beat made in China, etc products . |

Thank you for this. When you talk people are quick to rain insults on you. The fact that it's a battery and produces electric energy doesn't mean it can power all electrical devices. A stove produces heat in order to cook food, I wonder what heating element was deployed on the stove that is powered by dry cells as tiger battery. Has anyone wondered why such batteries cannot be used to kick-start a vehicle assuming they are connected in series to give 12v (same voltage as a car battery? Like say na car battery de guy use I for understand sef The secret in it all is the current. Once the current a battery produces is not strong enough, it cannot do any better than using a candle to cook. BTW like I always say, with the numerous mobile phones around, not a single photograph of the pots content shown boiling? Asking for video would be asking for too much. nor bi only battery stove we go see Denn: |

madridguy: This thing is creative my ass.. It also needs charcoal.... The battery make the rotor to fan the charcoal.... Its simple.. Drycell can never give off heat that'll cook food.. Imagine the amount of watts your electric stove ? Or when you plug iron and it draws light ... Wtf are they showing you guys.. In simple terms ..I'll call it a charcoal stove that doesn't need fanning . Please see your gas and buy this crap... |

Go ask your mother how much she charged your father before you were born then ask your sisters how much they charge now.... it will give you a better insight into how much your cousins will charge you for a one night stand in the flooded Ariara market stall you sleep all day.
