Umnh..this is very thoughtful Ola..i actually Wanted to Bypass the thread but the topic wont let me. I think God created the confusion there for a good purpose well understood, as well as am concerned God Is the creator Of all Things and they All Have their end result and reward or punishment..

You actually believe that those people with their ancient technology could build a tower reaching up to heaven? This is something modern day skyscrappers have not being able to achieve. Even if they manage to build to the same height as mount Everest, how would they breathe, because at such an altitude the air is very thin ( very LITTLE oxygen). The story just doesn't add up.

and in another land is the best selling author of another chronicle called "Our Faith".

some words are ambiguous others are not we need to examine the context or scenario where that sentence was applied and see if it is relatable to the tower of babel incident

No actually I know him . He asks a lot of questions for discussion sake - knowing the view of other christians and testing a christian's knowledge of the bible - not that he does not know the answers . Good stuff from him though

Something we should understand is that most of those stories are symbolic stories. Just the same way I replied someone who said unto me;"How is it possible that Noah carried all the animals into his Ark including Ape, Gorilla, Mosquito, dog, cats, eagles, vultures, elephants, Cows, roaches. The German shepherds, Caucasians, rottweilers, ekuke then also the various breeds of other animals".




There are some stories which are just included to pass a meaning. Here, the aim of this Tower story is to make us understand that God is Sovereign, we can not become him but we should acknowledge him in all our doings.



Then again, in the new testament, I got to understand that we are Gods. There are some statements that are contradicting in the book to man but with guidance of the Holy Spirit, the embedded knowledge will be revealed unto us.

According to the bible, nothing escapes his notice and everything comes from him.God is the author of all things,be it good or evil cause he knows about them even before hand.
