Umnh..this is very thoughtful Ola..i actually Wanted to Bypass the thread but the topic wont let me. I think God created the confusion there for a good purpose well understood, as well as am concerned God Is the creator Of all Things and they All Have their end result and reward or punishment..

God didn't mix up their language because he was scared they'd build their tower to infringe on his throne. Lol. Guys guys guys. God doent dwell in the realm of the material. You can't build a house here to get to the spirit realm. God doesn't even dwell in the realm of angels. Ps 113 v 4-6. The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the Heavens. 5. Why God stopped that project was because the intended to Build to MAKE A NAME FOR THEMSLEVES. "SELF" is the primary focus. No aknowledgement of God brings all manner of Problems. Ask King Nebukadnezzer of Babylon. He did the same thing, that cost him 7yrs of his adult life, as an animal in the bush.

Something we should understand is that most of those stories are symbolic stories. Just the same way I replied someone who said unto me;"How is it possible that Noah carried all the animals into his Ark including Ape, Gorilla, Mosquito, dog, cats, eagles, vultures, elephants, Cows, roaches. The German shepherds, Caucasians, rottweilers, ekuke then also the various breeds of other animals".




There are some stories which are just included to pass a meaning. Here, the aim of this Tower story is to make us understand that God is Sovereign, we can not become him but we should acknowledge him in all our doings.



Then again, in the new testament, I got to understand that we are Gods. There are some statements that are contradicting in the book to man but with guidance of the Holy Spirit, the embedded knowledge will be revealed unto us.

The context of this verse is dealing with the gift of tongues as were spoken in Christian churches in its early years. Foreigners would attend these churches and hear their own languages being spoken. There would often be interpretations of these tongues. Also, Christians would be overeager in their use of various tongues, and this would often lead to confusion as people did not do things in order. Therefore, in the immediate verses prior to (1 Cor. 14:33), Paul had just given instruction on the proper use of the tongues in the church, a use which stated order and sequence. The goal was not to produce a confusion among the hearers so that they would not understand the gospel. Instead, it was to produce an orderly service of worship.

The context of the Tower of Babel is quite different. The people of the earth were attempting to build a tower that would " . . . . reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name; lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth," (Gen. 11:4). The sin of the people was their great pride. They were seeking to remain one group in one location under their own efforts. Ultimately, this was a defiance of God's proclamation to fill the earth (Gen. 9:1). God wanted them to spread out. "So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city. 9Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth," (Gen. 11:8-9). Therefore, there is no contradiction since each is a different context and a different subject.
