Some of us evidently do not the intelligence to decipher the obvious.

He is clearing the way to allow the ministers to take over smoothly, the Perm Secs have hitherto been running affairs of their respective ministries quite freely; some of may have got used this and may consequently not be willing to fully cooperate with their new bosses; it is therefore easier to let them go through retirement - it happens in the civil service all the time.

So, at your level you don't know the difference between a perm sec and a minister, the difference between constitution and civil service rules, the difference between federal executive council and body of permanent secretaries.

As a growing civil servant that has been my prayer for FG to retire all the perm sec, DGs, old Directors to give room for others to come up to that position and create jobs for new ones(youths) to come in.

Its a shame we the youths complain of no jobs but have never called for the retirement of this ancient men who enjoyed their youth and still want to rock on positions to their grave.(they dye their hair everyday only to sleep or to get day off at work)
