The opposite is the case in Nigeria. We are crying of prison congestion in Nigeria whereas prisons are being closed in Netherland It is okay! |

Netherlands is one of those countries where anything goes. . . so I'm not surprised, although their economy is very good with a significantly lesser population. Smoking marijuana in most countries of the world is seen as a crime, whereas it's welcomed in the Netherlands. The truth is that they have found a way to decriminalize offenses and pass them into law. Being gay in Nigeria is a crime, whereas it's not a crime in the Netherlands. Either ways, their low prisoners' population doesn't in any way equate to an upright society. 2 Likes 1 Share |

In every sane environment, u should expect something like this. Nigeria is too congested. U don't expect stuff like this to happen here, expecially when our leaders are cheating us and we are doing everything possible to voice out. If you do, u are a criminal. |

This is the level of development we should all inspire to achieve and not trying to undermine the freedom of certain people to prosper and compete with other advance country. Biafra freedom from Nigeria will be the breakthrough of all corrupt practices and advance development in West Africa. Freedom is not easily given and of course propaganda will be another tool or obstacle to jeopardize the struggle but, we will get there. Biafra advancement will be similar to Netherland and other advance country. Ise... |

innocent82:Yes we could... 1. When criminals are caught and tried immediately to begin their sentence. 2. When we don't detain people for years untried. There are over 60% detainees in Nigerian prison without trail...for years! 3. When Police stop picking people at random and branding them robbers while the real robbers are freely moving around 4. When nobody is above the law to the extent of deciding who and who should be in prison at his or her command and how long they stay. All you hear is 'order from above' 5. When our judiciary start doing their work with integrity and stop being stooges. 6. When our senators start remembering those who sent them there and 'fighting' for just cause...not slapping themselves, tearing their clothes, throwing tantrums for personal 'allowances' 7. When the the 'oga at the top' starts upholding human rights and integrity and stops upholding woman thighs and contours 8. When the government respects human rights, stops sectional government, party of 'cult'... 9. When the citizens make integrity their watchdog |
