There are some times you say this and it makes sense but sometimes it doesnt.
Right now it makes me angry, why?
Because seeing him sitting down there, surrounded by other officials, and standing there with Tinubu singing the national anthem meant their appearance there was just another rounds of protocols after protocols observed. When will any president just slide into those camps without the fanfare, anthems and protocols after protocols observed and just do his thing? It is not every jamboree that has to lift the spirit of nigerians up, but SELFLESS service, that is the only thing that can get into the thick skull of nigerians. Buhari may have that character but all these protocols attached to the presidency is just useless in some instances like this and does not resonate well with the common man and even more to the displaced people.
